Little League Softball World Series Champion Crowned

The 2024 Little League Softball World Series concluded in dramatic fashion on August 11, with North Carolina’s Pitt County Girls Softball team taking home the championship. The final game was a tense 1-0 victory against the Southwest Region’s team from Louisiana. North Carolina’s Candace Lynn played a crucial role, securing the win with an RBI triple. The pitching duo of Brooklyn Medhus and Kenzie Carson combined for a 10-strikeout shutout to seal the victory.
