When the opportunity presents itself, it’s up to you to take advantage. That’s the mindset of the new Vancleave High School head baseball coach.
According to the Sun Herald, former Gulfport baseball assistant Justin Edwards accepted the job when he found out former Vancleave Head Coach Daniel Best stepped down to take the job at Brandon High School. Edwards spent the last six seasons under Gulfport Head Coach Jamie McMahon.
The former infielder for the University of New Orleans will take over a Vancleave program that won the Class 4A state championship last year.
