The top nine teams remained the same in the D1Baseball Top 25 rankings, led by No. 1 TCU, which opened its season with a three-game sweep of Penn State. Each of the top nine teams posted winning weekends; No. 2 Florida, No. 5 LSU, No. 8 Oregon State and No. 9 North Carolina each went unbeaten in Week One.
Louisville moved into the back of the top 10 after a 3-0 weekend at a tournament in Clearwater, Fla. Texas Tech climbed three spots to No. 11 following a 3-1 weekend at another tourney in Starkville, Miss. Cal State Fullerton moved up four spots to No. 12 after taking two of three from Stanford, which fell two spots to No. 20.
Ole Miss vaulted into the rankings at No. 17 after sweeping a three-game series at home against East Carolina, which fell from No. 10 to No. 18. Defending national champion Coastal Carolina also dropped eight spots to No. 19 after going 1-2 at a home tournament against unranked competition. One other team joined the rankings: Houston entered at No. 25 after winning a pair of games against Wake Forest and another against Nicholls State.
Maryland and UC Santa Barbara dropped out of the Top 25 after posting 1-2 records in Week One.
